Ruskin Park fun day 15th July 2006

We missed most of the day of events at Ruskin park (part of the Walkley festival), but got there in time to catch a few bands and some glorious Mexican and Latin American dancing. There was a really nice atmosphere - just the right number of people, very hot weather and everyone just laying back, drinking beers and having a mellow good time. Saw some local bands who I'd never heard about before - The Bowie Contingent do a good line in David Bowie covers, and Service Users played some really fun lo-fi punky choons.
